I am wanting to get a GPS that is portable. My budget is $275. Which one is the best for that price range? I do not care about name brand. I just want the fastest system for my money. Thanks for the help!

Here's the only advice I can give you: Find out about map updates before you buy. Some companies may include updates annually, most will charge you - find out how much.

I have a Nav HU in my Tahoe, the Jeep's got a TomTom One. I like TomTom's interface best, but that's just me.

Gps

I went with a garmin 760, Ebayed it at $185 and it has worked flawlessly thus far. I did not need all the extra features that it has but one criteria that you should consider when selecting a portable GPS is the screen size "bigger is better" amongst other things.

Cheers Ian
