I put HID's in my wife's car, which was a 9005/9006 setup with glare caps already in the factory housings. The HID's were 6000K. I wired them in with a relay harness, and they have been a major disappointment. I've replaced 3 ballasts already. Ok, I'm not buying the 250 dollar ballasts, but still. I've been in my suburban headed towards my wife's car in the dark but I'm also on 6" of lift and 34" tires. No blinding from the HID's though. I'd say that proper aim and the glare caps probably make it tolerable.
Those anzos don't have glare caps. I'm no expert, but I'd think you would be the guy blinding people if you ran HID's in them.
I have HIR bulbs in my Suburban. The HID's I bought for my truck are just not getting installed. The HIR bulbs are about twice the lumen rating of the stock halogens, the same color temperature as halogens, and draw the same amount of juice too. No ballasts, no relays, no wiring. Just trim part of the bulb base to fit in the socket, and you're in business. These bulbs are about 20 to 25 apiece, and are numbered 9011/9012 hi and low.
