Hey guys,

I have always wondered which headlights offer the brightest halos. I have been looking at a couple sets, but I know that most aren't as bright like the originals on BMW's.

Can anyone direct me in the right direction? Possibly show some pictures of your setup?

I currently have some, but I am not really pleased with the brightness.

Here are some that I am looking at:

Truthfully .. don't like either one of them. Not exactly a fan of Halos !!

I have DEPO Chrome Projectors in mine (see signature) .. attached is an image of what they offer for your year/model.

The only advice I can offer is if you're hell bent on halo's, look for CCFL halo's. LED Halo's are nowhere near as bright, whereas CCFL's are real bright. See the attached retrofit of my Grand. The CCFL's are around the high beams. I'm starting to see CCFL's show up in eBay sets for other cars, but if you want to retrofit they are out there.

WOW those look awesome and bright! Thanks for the advice.
LED angel eyes or halos are bright, but you need more than just 1 or 2 small LED's to power a ring. The ones I have on my BMW E46 M3 are 6000k 60 LED's and they are ridiculously bright.

This is when I had the normal CCFL 4500k Angel eyes:

I can't seem to find one of my new LED Angel Eye setup...
But you get the idea.

I was really dissapointed with the brightness of my halos. You can't even tell they're on during the day and they are not that noticable at night.

I have the same ones!
Those 3 little LED "eyelashes" as I like to call start to go out one by one for som reason. I had my shop rewire them and they work again, seems like the wiring just gets loose for some reason. During the day you can't tell that they are even on, at night they look awesome, but with the brightness of the HID's you can't see them from far away.

I also have halos in my fog lights, those are bright on their own, but again when the HID's are on you can't see them anymore.
