In order to integrate you stereo with the stock system you will need 2 wiring harnesses. One to integrate with the stock wiring and maintain onstar and chimes, and another to retain the factory steering controls.

The Metra GMOS-LAN-012 allows to keep onstar and chimes, and the Metra Axxess ASWC allows for steering wheel controls to function.

There are also harnesses made by Pac Audio that work well also.

I just installed the 4400 in mine and love it!

here are the parts you need to get for onstar/chimes and steering wheel controls

-----Metra Axxess ASWC Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface (Black)
-----Metra 95-3305 Double DIN Installation Dash Kit for 2006-up Chevrolet Vehicles
-----Axxes GM Onstar/OE Satellite Retention Module with Warning Chimes
-----Pioneer CD-IU201V iPod Interface Cable

Listed in my post from earlier is the harness for OnStar/chimes and another for steering wheel controls. Just search those on amazon and you'll find them

That axxess aswc is what I have so I know for sure that will. That other one looks like it will probably work but is not the same as what I have but probably just a different brand that does what you need done :)

Alright i was able to get everything installed the radio mount gave me hell but i got past that. Ordered a pre bult bypass from ebay and it works as well. Tonight i was riding and all of a sudden the unit went black. It turned on again after i pulled the key out and restarted. If i touch the climate control screen it seems hot could it be all the wires back there causing heat issues? Main issues are

1. Sirrus isn't working. I see it in the dash (where i usually see speedo and fuel) but we can't hear it. Onstar works fine though.
2. does the module red light suppose to stay on the axes (larger box)
