We found a 19 Tahoe z71 midnight edition with 60,000 miles that we are going to look at.

We were looking at a few new Tahoe z71 but can't see spending that much. I can get these used ones for $15000-17000 less with out the mark up included.
i have a 2019 suburban Z71, love it, has had no issues bought new. I wanted the old platform as I was concerned about buying the new platform. I too do not put many miles on it, finally hit 11K. By 2019 the platform is really shaken down. Also have second row bench.

I also prefer a fully loaded depreciated truck than a new one with less options I’d want later, though I keep mine longer.

As for the ones you’ve mentioned, the Midnight Edition would be the deciding factor for me. I hate all the unnecessary plastic chrome accents on the K2XX generation suvs.
*** edit: as long as it’s not the Custom Midnight Edition which is based on the LS package.

My wife is looking at upgrading from her 17 Acadia all terrain to a Tahoe. New ones are out of our budget. She wants the Z71 package. Question is which is better purchase now for a better resale later on down the road? A 2017 Tahoe z71 with 30,000 miles or a 2019 Tahoe Z71 with 64000 miles? Both are priced close to the same. The 17 has bench seat second row, digital insturment cluster, push button start, blind spot, etc. The 19 has bucket 2nd row seats, plain cluster, push button start, blind spot, etc.

We do not put alot of miles on a year so miles are not a huge thing but still worries for resale.

Is there any differences between the years? Features, software, drivetrain?
Personally, I would avoid any MY earlier than 2019. Given GM's commitment to using their early adopters as their final validation methodology in virtually every new model launch, they finally got the 2Kxx bugs worked out in '19 and especially in '20.

We went to look at a black 18 Tahoe RST with 6.2L 60000 miles priced at $56000. I liked the looks of it but the wife didn't like the all black look and 22" rims. They had a black 19 GMC Yukon SLT loaded with 50000 miles 20" snowflake wheels. She drove it and loved it. So we bought it. I need to give it a good paint correction and upgraded the headlights. I might remove the steps since we are both tall and have to step over them to get in.

Congrats and good luck! I think you made a wise choice with the '19.

No kids, just dogs. We are leaning more toward a Tahoe with a bench seat. We haul stuff that would need a flat floor and the buckets would leave a open space when folded.

Suburban is too big for the garage and my wife wants a Tahoe.
with dogs they can get to the back with bucket seats, good or bad ?
