Instead of saying flush, I am going to use the procedure listed on this site. That is how I changed the transmission fluid on my Volvo as well. I don't see why it shouldn't be changed, just like any other fluid.
I can agree with the problem of the "flush" from quick lube places that could stir up junk where it wouldn't normally be.
