a lot of people with ****** cars that leak..you would be surprised how many people carry it around even in brand new BMW, Mercedes etc that i see in the body shop...

totally agree, I bet they live within a half mile radius. Brake fluid, acetone...doesn't matter, those ******* were prepared and unless they drive around looking for cars to mess with they must live nearby. Probably started out wanting to give someone a flat and when you left it they kicked things up a notch. Start walking your dog in the area and you'll ID them in a week.
