wierd factory options?

the underhood storage box got me thinking what other cool/weird stuff was offered from the factory?

i have that retractable engine light
the storage box
??

Where is your light located? I am buying one of Ebay for $30 and may put mine on the back engine bay

The reel light mounts on the firewall of the vortec trucks and on the passenger fender of TBI trucks. There is small dimples where the factory self tapping screws go. It's located right next to the coolant overflow tank.

it may not be an option but I never understood what that flip up tray thing is for on the console lid, I use it like a paper weight for receipts and such.

There is a clip on the back of that tray for a notepad, so you can flip it up and write something down easily.

My LS has the reeled light but my LT dosent. Course the LS has the storage container and LT has shelf for 2nd battery. i might add the extra power eventually.

I have a block heater plug in a gas truck. Its not connected but its there if i decided to put a heater in. Also Have the storage box with the battery tray under it. I noticed I have both.

somethings not right with that if the plug is there then the heater should be there. one end for electric cord the other end into the heater.
