Will 07+springs fit on pre 06 models

Looking to see if the stock rear spring from a 07-11 tahoe will fit in the 00-06 models. Thanks.

The spring is the same dimension and will physically fit but it's rate is different as the 07+ is heavier. So it will fit but the a$$ will probably sit higher than if you used the right spring for the truck.

Ok thanks man, do you know how wide the spring coils are at the top and bottom by chance?

No sorry. They do taper on both ends though.
