The factory 265/65R18 tires are 31.5" tall.

I am looking at upsizing to 275/70R18, which is 33.1" tall. There looks to be a ton of room under there. Can I upsize without installing a leveling kit?

A 1.5" leveling kit is in shipment to me, but the tire shop has a killer deal right now that I want to get in on.

Tires I'm looking at. Choice will be determined by final price installed. I've had all 3 and all 3 were awesome tires.

But yeah, any input would be awesome. Looking to get the tires by Monday. Thx guys

275's were on my tahoe when I bought it. No leveling kit and zero rub. I then ran 285's with no leveling kit and once in a blue moon it would rub. I'm now wanting to go with 305's.

So a little conflicting info, my guess is maybe bobbyd would rub, too, in reverse under certain conditions ... I'd think he would rub more since he only has a 1" lift vs the 2.5" from wristdoc

wristdoc 32.8" wheel + 2.5" front lift = slight rub in reverse going down his driveway

bobbyd 33" wheels + 1" (guessing front) lift = no problems at all
