Will not start and keeps blowing # 20 (prnd21) fuse when shifting out of park

How many times has a shade tree mech got you into a bigger bind than when you started

Ok there is not any wire that I have not inspected. All wires are in good shape and none of them are grounded. So it only can be either a wire put in backwards or mismatched or one or some of the electronic copoments inside the trans has gone bad. I was told if the main trans elec plug was not plugged in the truck would not start. So it's got to be some wire that goes to that plug or something inside the trans that the plugin goes to. There are two pink wires in that plug one of which goes to the fuse that keeps blowing when shifting from park.

Do you know of a diagram that specifically shows where those two pink wires goes and there function?

If not I have to just swap wires around til I find what goes where, and there are to many combinations to figure out. I just want to pull my hair out and take a 30-06 to my truck,
This is so frustrating I have had this truck since last July and I have drove it only 4 times .

Me? I only have one from my own truck not being finished. And the severe lack of money because of no job to do what I want with it.

William is probably readying a hair transplant just in case.

Yep, it is a pain but this is such a nice truck I don't want to give up on it!

Why does your diagrams keep changing every time I come back to this site? I need that one showing what to test ohms on the round tran elec plug. and the one that shows what to test the volts on the trans position plug. It's rectangle in shape. If you can get those up again I would appreciate it. Thx

The fuse box under the hood has a red wire coming from undrneath the fuel pump relay. The wire has what seems to be a factory plug in at the end of it. The wire is only five. Inches long do you know what this is?

Connector was used by factory during building to prime the fuel system during it first gas up and start otherwise they would have to mess with the ignition for too long. After adding fluids to the vehicle it moves down the line to receive its battery. As it goes down the assembly line they power that wire for a while to bleed all the air out of system. That wire can power the pump thru the relay when the relay is not energized. By the time it gets it battery it is primed and ready for a flawless start and roll out.

The pictures change randomly after a few hours. I can make them permanent but it takes to long to post So view them in an enlarged state and print them. Also but letting them change new users who might need them will have to register and ask for them again and that could help bring more users to the site not to mention maybe even monetary support for the site.

Ok I just found out the reverse lights do not work. Could this have something to do with my problem?
