I have 2001 Sub which i have struggled with the sunroof for years after a dead battery. (i finally just closed it maually a few years ago and gave up) Anyway, just changed a rear window regulator and it opens the window as soon as the ignition is turned on and the the (new) motor on the actuator gets super hot and will not go back up. I have manually jumpered it closed and keep it unplugged.
Do i have to take it to the dealer to re calibrate?
(I tried the procedure for the sunroof-where you hold the button in while you turn it on, it absolutely doesnt work)
Is there a more advanced obd scanner i could get for less than say 500 bucks that can do more than my harbour freight cheapie?
