Is that black strip part of the window seal or the adhesive that was on the in channel visors? And here picture of ones I want to put on .

Window seal..... The other ones you are showing are much slimmer.... Nice.... if you don't want to open your window much. I haven't heard of them.

Only problem with the slimmer in channel is the rear window on the suv is dramatically curved at the rear and you can really only open the window a literal 1/4 to 1/2 inch because the curvature. I hate it on my in channels.

I'm starting think that black strip came with in channel visors older ones. My new ones adhesive is paper thin. 3m stuff nasty sticky to.

Update yep old ones just had thick black adhesive. [emoji106][emoji849][emoji3]

Same. The weathertech ones curve down in the back, the AVS don't. I grabbed a set from a member in hopes of swapping just the rears. I don't like the weathertech fronts that go all the way down by the mirror. I didn't get to use them because they were off an XL, and the rear windows are longer. Didn't even think about it until I went to install.

Just bit of details these that I got are about 3 times thicker then old weather tech . Very stiff to pop in .
Back ones easyer just slides up in . But there pretty tight in the channel I can't see them falling out at all.
This also will stop them moving in the wind. At first old ones stuck so good it was ripping on the rubber big time right in spots on the ends . Someone might of add some nasty glue of some kind that's what kind of threw me off. Always a learning curve .
