I have a 2004 and I am curious if the weatherstrip in the side of the windshiled is supposed to sit on top, or tuck in so the windshield fits into its groove. I recently had the windshield replaced and the glass shop left it on top, rather than tucked in like it was before. The thing is the windshield is not completely center so the trim can't tuck in like it did on the one side.

What does your windshield trim look like?

That doesn’t look right. What is meant by “the windshield is not centered”? Are both sides this way?

Mine's smooth all the way along the trim piece and windshield, both sides.

Have them remove and reinstall correctly based on the pictures everyone is showing which you could share with the install shop.

Might have a mess on your hands as that new windshield is really glued in.
