I did 50% whole shield, 15% roll downs for reference. Was actually stopped in this picture for my tint.

Outside for reference.

Tinted my GTP, not my Tahoe. But same basic idea.

I did 50% ceramic on my windshield without a brow. One day I'll do like a 5% brow but for now I'm content. I really want to wish I would have went 35%, but I know my vision at night would be hindered unless I did a crazy retrofit like TL projectors.

With just 15/30% ceramic sides:Tint #2.0.jpg

With the 50% on the windshield: Windshield Tint #3.JPG

Contrast of the 15% fronts, 50% windshield and outside world:Windshield Tint Inside.jpg

Never been pulled over for any of the tint. Im pretty sure LEO's dont have a meter to test the windshield as the A pillar gets in the way. If I get a ticket, Ill pay it. It's beyond worth it.

I'm all for blacking out the rear windows and front doors around 10% and a good 5% 5-6" brow on the windshield but I can not get why people do the entire windshield.

Police and accidents are just waiting to happen. All I see is $$$ waiting to be thrown away maybe even a life depending on circumstances. And if it were ever an issue and the courts were involved and they found that your windshield was tinted your done. Just my .02c not trying hate on anyone.

The trooper that stopped me had a meter that was a 2 piece and had suction cups. My 50% metered to 42% on his machine.

I recently bought my Tahoe with a tinted brow on my windshield. It comes down fairly low. I think it's either 5 or 20 percent. I don't really like it. I've been debating taking it off. It makes the windshield look a lot smaller especially at night since visibility is low. Kind of reminds me of my 2010 Camaro windshield

How far is too low?, I would just trim it especially if its a good tint job. "legally" windshield tent should not go past that lil line at the corner of the windshields or just past the factory shaded/tent of the windshield. Like I said earlier 5-6" brow is usually a pretty good look and helps with the sun glare.
