Well it's Summer blend so I don't think there's alchohol in it. I'll have to check. Whenever I only have Summer blend and it's winter I'll throw cup of alchohol in a gallon but I don't believe this was the case. Ill send photos in a bit and update.
What sense should it make to use wash fluid without Alcohol? *Hicks :drink_nl:

Alcohol is used to keep it from freezing in the winter. Using alchohol in the summer it dries super fast and doesn't clean well and ruins the wiper blades faster.
I was only joking, but a slight add of alcohol can help to remove grease from the window...
And a lot alcohol in the fluid can help when break down on a lonely highway.. :favorites37:

Had that happen once a long time ago, like decades. Just cleaned out the reservoir and soldiered on.

3 or 4 years ago I quit buying the store bought stuff and started making my own from this concentrate. My kids don't like it as they are expecting it to repel water like Rain-X. Keep 2-3 bottles full on my shelf in old Arizona Ice Tea bottles.

Yeah don't drink that! It's funny when I sometimes add alcohol to mine it is very noticeable even inside. What happened to yours exactly? Did it gel? Or create black jellyfish like mine?

This was a long time ago so my memory may fail me but I seem to remember it being black and flakey on the sides of the tank and like little sheets floating around that had flaked off the sides of the tank. Pretty sure I had to change the pump shortly thereafter. This was '80s GM, where the pump was part of the wiper motor and the reservoirs were on top of the fender liner and much smaller than we have now.

It was bring your kid to work day at the windshield washer fluid factory. The 10 year old boy named Calvin thought that it would be extremely funny to pee in the big vat of washer fluid. His idea was to piss on as many people as he could.... You know how if you have the window down and hit the washer button and some sprays on your arm or if going down the road it sprays all over the guys vehicle behind you.... He got you, Calvin peed all over you and millions of others! calvinknockoff10.jpg
