On my 4Runner I replaced the inserts twice in 11 years though mind you I probably should have done it 3 times. I’m hoping the OEM blades on my ‘24 Yukon XL SLT give me a few years.

My 2021 F150 was traded in after 3 years (lease) and the OEM blades were absolutely fine. Can’t imagine not going OEM and why blades would need to be replaced so often as some have described above. OEM blades also look clean.

I’ve had the Yukon since April with 6,000 miles and they work like day 1 (as they should). When the time comes, I will replace the inserts.

I am sure it depends you live.
We have chemicals and sand thrown on the road in the winter and it gets thrown about by the tires including on the windshield.
I can picture beach and desert environments having sand moved by the wind. I have been pelted by sand out on the Hatteras beach.

yep the summer heat here just loves to ruin anything plastic or rubber, the thinner it is the faster it is turned to dust particles, just sucks the oil right out of it.

Resurrecting this with frustration over ANCO listings for 2008 Tahoe.
Several models have a different item for "Early" or "Late" Production. The lengths and type (pinch tab) are the same in both options.
I called their technical help phone and there was no help in how to tell or what was different.
Other brands don't seem to differentiate so what could be the issue with ANCO?
Could it be that they are saving a few pennies to not include two mounts in the package?
It seems more effort that it's worth.
The only suggestion was to bring the VIN to the store but I seriously doubt parts stores have the database to run vins to sell wipers.
Anyone have this experience that might shed some light on the confusion?
