By any chance do you have aftermarket alarm with a remote starter? Because that does not sound like a factory keyfob if is has a start button. You could call your local dealer give them your vin and they should be able to tell you if you have the luxury option so I can get you the right info.

I guess it's aftermarket but I don't know as for the dealer I don't know where the original deal is so that's a no go.
could you post both options instead?

I mean a dealer local to you not the original. Contact parts dept of place below they should be near you. Give them your vin and they could tell you. If you go there you can get a build sheet with installed equipment.

ehh i just went ahead and cut the aftermarket wires out. thanks though
