Watch Walking Dead or MadMax. Most of us have no chance going it alone, and would need to join a group.

BUT for a more “normal crisis” like a hurricane or killer snow storm, nothing is better than a long wheel base Suburban/Yukon XL. It’s got enough room to carry you’re family and all the stuff you’ll need for 2 weeks on the INSIDE of the vehicle, and assuming you have 4x4, can get through bad roads.

I would put a little more tint on the windows and more aggressive tires, maybe a few extra gas tanks on top like Land Cruisers. But again if it’s real serious shit where people carry guns, then I think none of this matters, it’ll be too late for most people, unfortunately.

Our Suburban will make a nice shelter but I'll make supply runs on my Pugsley.

i think id want a dirt bike, or a enduro at least, its good off road, skinny enough to get by most traffic jams. get some saddle bags to hold gas and gear and run away lol

Doubeleive is right tho, most of us are dead pretty fast.

you know them crazy prepper people, not so crazy now are they, those will be the ones who survive longest.
The crazy that's inside us is what will take over, you would see people doing anything to survive including cannibalism, the pets and farm animals go first, then whatever small game that can be caught, then when the hunger really sets in an arm or a leg. it just rolls back to survival of the fittest.

I remember watching tv shows back in the day when people were not so squirmy about stuff and they did studies where they put rats in a cage then added more rats so it was kind of crowded, some of the rats would fight a little with each other but not so bad, then they would slowly take away the food and water........the rats would go crazy and literally battle it out to the death and even eat each other. basically population studies, they probably still do them but there just not televised like they used to be, interesting stuff really makes you think what would happen.

The problem with the media is they sensationalize almost anything and make a big bold title that's a pure "theory" of whoever or whatever and people read the headline and not the story and just go off the deep end to think it's the truth then you have a legion of misinformed lemmings running off a cliff
