Won't start. Securtiy passkey 3 problems

To anyone. Lately the Tahoe would not start naturally. I had an auto-start that was installed over 5 years ago. Never had a problem. Now this issue comes and goes. When she won't start i will use the auto start and it will start with no problem so i ignored it . One morning all power was lost i could not get into the vehicle with the stock remote (which i generally use 100% of the time). I turn the key nothing! All of a sudden the power came back on and everything was OK? Has anyone ever experience something like this?
Can the Security pass key feature reset itself? Will the diagnostic computer record a code for this.

i think the body control module would store a code for the pass key if that was the issue i know one time after we reset the codes in my yukon id start it and it would die and did it like three times then never did it again im thinkin thats how it resets itself but im pretty new to this stuff so maybe someone with more experience will chime in with a more thorough answer
