Am I the only one that puts the mods on my kon as soon as the packages arrive? Lol

Hell yeah man. In the past I've stalked my UPS guy simply to get my box right there at the sidewalk. With mods, every second counts. :licklips:

It depends

so I’m currently settled in a location in Afghanistan; and I do a lot of ready and research. so I wanted to see what everyone else would do. so here is my question to you all:

I have a '12 Tahoe and would like to know what all you would do to it if you had say $1500 to spend?

so here is a list of things already done:

In dash DVD/Nav
(1) headrest monitor
Res delete
Air Raid intake tube/KN Filter
window vents
Husky liner floor mats
LED interior lights all

So I plane on getting 2nd headrest, MBRP exhaust, BB Tune, Cargo liner, (1) Sundown 12.

So with that said I believe that the Truck should be/say Clean,Elegant, usefull

If you travel alot and your on the road for hours at a time I would go with an indash DVD with the T-7 bypass so you can watch while you drive. All of that would cost around 1100, head rest monitors if you have children are a must because it keeps them occupied and not hollering at them in the back seat. If you just drive to chill short distances I would look for a wheel package. I have an 04 Denali XL and I put 23" rims on and 305/40/23 Kuhmo's on for a little over $2400. My Alpine DVD I installed on the bottom dash where the 6 disc changer was and I installed a input TV screen in the dash where the factory navigation was. I installed the M300 Navigation unit to my head unit which was $400 and a 21" overhead LCD screen for the back seat riders. Which is nice is you can keep the rar and front monitor playing the movie and I can have the navigation on the alpine where the 6 disc changer was and it plaays the voice over the speakers when you need to turn to your destination. The 21" lcd was hard because my moonroof slides back so I had to custom mount the LCD so it wouldnt interfere with the moonroof sliding back.. I also installed a rear view camera to my alpine and an Ipod hook up so I can run it off the head unit. All of the audio/video, nav and screens ran me around $3500. Its hard to buy the right stuff for 1500, but I guess I would start with the video head unit and bypass,

Hey Bro......

I had a set that hyperflashed.....

Driver side.

It was more of the fear of not being able to return them ...... lol.

I bought from CarID.......and they had the attitude "it is not defective" and wanted me to send them pix of the hyperflashing...... I was like..... seriously?

I got my money back after I brought up that I would contest the cc charge.

A lot of other folks have had issues (moisture related) with the G4s..... but not the G5s.

I mounted G4's on my friends hoe and all we had to do is solder in a properly calculated resistor, I did the Diode because I didnt want any backfeeding and blowing the G4's

everything you said you want to install will $$$$

The modifications you plan to add on will cost more than $1500 but I dont know how much aftermarket items are in Afghanistan but I would be willing to paypal you some money to help you get started for being over their risking your life for our freedom. You put your neck on the line everyday so we can have our toys over here and I appriciate all you soldiers who fight for our country. Im serious on the offer. That is the leat I could do for a military man away from the USA fighting for our freedoms and stopping the evil f$%ks who plan everyday how they will attack us again after 911. Stay strong and be safe. Take care and Ill say this for all of us. THANK YOU!!!!

Yea rnow i have an Pioneer FB900 DVD/NAV/ installed with the ipod/ipad hook up.

But thanks for the offer:patriot:, but there better things to send money to than; to a single guy in Afghanistan, and i really do mean thanks a lot. if you want i would say take the money and donate it to a military fund that helps guys like me over here. something like "support a Platoon" or the red cross. they actually do a lot for guys who get bad news from home and need help getting there.
