Would tihs work...?

Hey guys so my buddy just got a 08 sierra 2500 truck and has the factory navigation in it. He wants to take it out and put it in his old pioneer head unit. Would his factory navi work in a 07+ tahoe or yukon? Or only the 2500? and how much could he seel it for if its in perfect working and cosmetic condition?

It should work. If I were gonna buy and already had rear entertainment, I would want the DVD/NAV and get a lockpick too.

Looks like anywhere from $500 to $800.........

Well you can buy an Esky nav unit in good condition for $450 http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/pts/2643928140.html.

Even tough that won't look right in our trucks it is a better/bigger unit ... so I'm guessing $350-400 would be a good price for a used tahoe one.
