youve never had any issues with the blinkers blinking while approaching the car and unlocking with the fob?

since using these resistors i mean

I never had any issues like that while I had the G4's with the resistors.

I bought and used the HD resistors from theretrofitsource which resist 9ohms at 50w and i have the problem i described

reason i havent just replaced them with the gold ones is vleds doesnt sell a 6ohm 50 watt resistor anymore...
so im trying to figure out the right solution

Do you get rid of the square grey piece when connecting the resistors or connect the grey piece to?

The big grey square thing connected at the back of the lens housing.

That's the "stock" resistor so you can either leave that there and don't worry about installing your own resistors or cut them off and install your own.

Update. I installed my own resistors and taillights are working great.
