WTF escalade stays running even after removing the ignition key

Ok what the hell is goin on! Drove home from work parked and got out and was like wtf my truck is still running with the keys in my hand. Put them back in the ignition and wiggled the key in there and so on and nothing. Got out ready to check some fuses or whatever and it shuts off. Ran for a cpl min with ne key in the ignition. Wth ppl shit!

Thats what my yota is doing aswell atm but its carb and im pretty sure its gonna be the butterfly valves on it. Now yours might have a short that keeps the fuel pump on or priming

This has happened to me before and I just put the key back in put it onto acc and turned the key back off and it turned off. Like the guy said it maybe gremlins.

My old 2000 Sierra would let you pull the key out in the run pontoon. But if I turned it off it would shut off. Was pretty cool. You could leave it running and lock the doors and have your keys in your pocket

Mine is the other way around turn the key and nothing then like two seconds later she turns on. I think it's the ************* module they installed for the alarm

Do you an auto start on your Cadillac because that may be the problem do you have your brake on when you turn the key off. When you turn the key off make sure the there is pressure on your break to turn on all accessories and you wont have that problem anymore
