X or H pipe?

x I may go with bc the H is deeper but still gonna have pop right?

You can make it so an X pops too, don't use that as a deciding factor. Go with the correct one for your setup and position it where it's supposed to be ...

how do i find the correct one? just a generic x pipe wont work? and they say put it right after the cats

nope, spray paint a line on the code exhaust pipes on both sides. Start truck, drive it around...once it cools, crawl under. Where the burning on the pipe stops, on the paint line, is where the H pipe crossover goes.

well an h wont take away the pop it will just make it deeper, an x will smooth the sound out and take away the pop

Should I go with an X or H pipe? I've got true dual straight pipes and am wanting to cut back on the pop.......

So wait, let me see if I understand this correctly. Are you running just straight pipes (no mufflers)? If this is your setup, an H or X pipe may help a little but your not going to get rid of the popping.

As far as the real difference between the 2, both are going to give you equalization of the banks providing better scavaging properties. X-pipes offer better flow than H-pipes. H-pipes do offer better flexability though , especially when you have space issues to deal with. Another thing that I've heard/read is the sound differences. H sound better down low and X sound better up high. Performance-wise, its tough to say.
