@petethepug Finally found a good one! Picked it up on Tuesday and got it back from the Cadillac Dealer yesterday.
Mine looks like Han Solo frozen in carbonite and soaked in road salt/brine. :(

A couple of thoughts from my search and how I'm liking the XT5:
-Dealers are not very keen on making a cash deal; certain dealers also have the mindset of "I know what I've got" and then the car is still sitting on the lot weeks after I've put an offer in which I believe was fair. I recorded the VIN and kept track of the selling dealers via CarFax; I know of four XT5 which are still for sale but dealers wouldn't budge on the price.
-I was offered protection plans ranging from $6k-12k even when the car was still under it's bumper to bumper warranty. That's where they wanted to make up some of their losses; they bought the car for $28,500 on trade.
-I took advantage of some very bad weather in Chicago and headed out to purchase the XT5 I finally bought; car was clean on the bottom and near perfect for a used interior with the exception that the tire tread was gone. It was the first car the Genesis dealer has sold that day, they sold another after I had wrapped up but it was slow and they were at least eager to get it off their lot after 9 weeks. It's under factory warranty until March and I've already had it into a dealer I use for my 2500 with which was willing to go through the car and find items that we're in need of fixes.
-I was able to negotiate the price with it being my responsibility to put new tires on the car; KBB with the options said the car was $31,006 ($29,624-32,387), it's an AWD Prem. Lux with the 3.6L V6 with built in nav which comes with the upgraded Bose speakers which MSRP was $55,140. Dealer had it listed for $28,420 and after a bit of back and forth landed on $26,000 + tax, title, and doc fees for OOD price. With new tires, alignment (at a shop I trusted, not the dealer which just took a loss) and a few items taken care of under the bumper to bumper I'm in the car for $27,700 (50.2% of MSRP) which is under the depreciation curve by approximately 18 months.
-I posted the above numbers to show it's possible to still work a deal but you've got to have time on your side and be ready to walk away from the car which doesn't make sense. I was only looking for a car which I could get under the depreciation curve as it's not the Yukon's or Tahoe's which we all love and have a deeper connection to.
-I've tested 8 XT5's in the past three months, the trim level scheme changed in 2020 and options became more a la carte so if you have a specific item you're looking for it's going to be trim 2017-2019 and then could be in any vehicle in 2020+.
-I like the 9 speed (2020+) over the 8 speed (2017-2019) and the 2.0L felt underwhelming when I test drove a 2020.
-There is a difference in the CUE system from 2019 to the 2020 gen however it wasn't that big of a deal when not able to sit in the cars side by side. The wireless phone charger needs to be replaced in a 2017 if that's important to you.
-I put defender2's on the XT5, their a bit beefier than what came off the factory line but I can't tell a difference. The XT5 rides like a cloud compared to my 2500.
-Why did I choose the XT5 over a GM, Chevy or other product? I wanted something which I didn't need to search far and wide for the v6, AWD, and have nicer materials than the terrain or the equinox. The last Terrain with a v6 was a 2017 and didn't have CarPlay included (this is a big deal for my wife), and was very hard to find a nice example in the Denali trim. Same with the Equinox dropping the v6 in 2017 and impossible to find anything which hadn't been just beaten up.
-I've had it out in the snow already and the AWD system works great, cabin noise is minimal and is just really nice to be able to run around without putting 3-5 miles per trim on the 2500.
