So I tried to add the aux port, using the L / R, and ground from the XM module in my '03 Yukon SLT, with the Bose system, and factory XM..
Wired up, soldered connections, heat shrinked the wiring, etc.. Should be good to go.. Well, as soon as I plug anything into the aux port, it kills the dash cluster, radio, and other random, weird behavior.. I can't see how a ground, and left - right audio channels can possibly jack with the gauge cluster, etc..
Has anyone seen this before, and what can I do about it?
Thinking of cleaning up all my factory ground points, and maybe the "big 3" upgrade. But not going to have time for much diagnosis for a while.
Any feedback is appreciated!
