Haha that would be a bit unnerving!

Ok guys I think I may be on to something with the digital control module. Out of curiosity I had my girlfriend pull the module and send me a photo of the back. Sure enough as I suspected it's a Dorman product #599-211, not OEM so at some point in this vehicles life that was replaced. After learning this I'm 99% confident that module is faulty, especially since it's not OEM. The local junkyard has a ton of these for $75 so I'll probably pick one up so long as it's the original and not another knockoff like this one.

I'll report back once I get one.
I would try a different junk yard 75.00 !! Really.

Is that expensive?? I figured it wasn't bad assuming this dorman brand one goes for twice that at the parts store. Admittedly I'm not up to ***** on the going rates though. What is a going rate for a used OEM digital controller?

You have the Computer Climate Control with the 'Auto' feature on the 1st dial or maybe you have the up-dated version for the '03 models ?

Yeah I must have the updated one. I used my Google-fu and I see what you're talking about for the 00-02 models. But the one I have is the all digital one, not the dials.

My '00 Yukon with the ''Auto'' Computer Climate control Control Module P/N; 16250785 from GM (AC Delco) was over 200.00

Make sure you get a guarantee. The junkyard components could be failures, too. :(
