I feel like you're truck should be much faster. I saw in your profile you said you were doing the cam install today. Was this time with or without the cam

The cam and transmission are in and the HP custom tune was done after the install. I ran it yesterday 7.4 seconds was the 0-60 MPH. Like I said earlier some people embellish the truth on their 0-60 mph and some post their 60 ft time instead of their 60 mph. I'm still waiting on my heads. Once they are installed I will have the tune adjusted and see where it's at then. Oh by the way I beat a new 2016 Denali off the line and pulled him by a least 6 car links before I let off.

$1600 + $550 to install I could have done it myself but I don't have a lift and I didn't want to do it on the ground
Hope much torque management do you have left in your tune? At what percent throttle does your truck enter PE? What tuning are you running and what's your fuel enrichment. All this things matter to making your truck jump off the line quicker and entering power enrichment sooner. From the factory it's basically disabled. What's your PE delay set to? Do you have a wideband and what tuning suite do you use? Is abuse mode disabled? Who's doing your tuning? They must have you on a very safe and scanned back tune to protect you and themselves.

You leaving the truck intake on it or going with something like a FAST intake or an LS6?
Just the stock truck intake. I've been told that these intakes are really good and you don't really get much if any gains from an aftermarket intake

I'm not exactly sure on the specifics of the tune but it's a custom HP tuner program. I asked if the torque management was disabled and it was. I can get the specifics from him. I get unlimited tunes as well. He told me after I install the heads that I would need to retune it. So really I'm waiting on the heads. I changed some stuff on the heads so I may not get them until next weekend. I do know that when he did the install it took about 6 hours
