I'm not sure cause I went ahead and bought a new emblem with the adhesive already on it.

If you want to reuse your existing one make sure you get a thicker slightly padded double sided 3M tape because the back of the emblem isn't flat, it's sort of hollow if that makes sense.

Finished up the third brake light and emblem today, waiting on a new emblem to relocate to the middle.

I like the darkness of the tint, How many coats is that?

Is there a way to "glossy" is though? I think it would look a little better, though I like it now too.

If it was me, I'd debadge the whole thing.

I did 2 light coats with the VHT, i think if you sanded and polished more it would give it a slighty "glossy look" although i did that process 4 times and just stopped when i liked the look of the lights. Ya im going to debadge both and see if i like it and then move the GMC to the middle and see which one i like the best. Thanks

Looks very nice man. Definitely agree that the GMC should be moved to the middle position. I'd remove all other badges in the rear. Definitely like the tint on your brake lights... not too dark not too light.

Thanks guys, trying to get the rear debadged and moved tomorrow. Went to my local O'reillys looking for the 3M adhesive backing to put the emblem back on with but couldn't find it, anyone know where to get some?

I bought some at AutoZone before. Advance Auto Parts might have it too.
