Yes OEM speakers worked prior to swap out, fuses good, and even tried infortainment reset....and still no sound.

Interesting thing just happened now. I decided to put everything back to stock and have car audio shop fix it. I reinstalled OEM Bose speakers and surprise surprise...the Bose speakers were working again. With radio on and music still playing, I quickly replaced with Kicker speakers and sound was finally coming from both Kickers. Thinking everything was fixed and OK, I started to put speaker grille and pillar trim back on. Radio power timed out and then shut off. I restarted the radio....no more sound from the Kickers. WTF???
FWIW I recently tried the Kicker upgrade in the front corners and I noticed in the Bose module it had DTCs for channel 7 and 8, presumably because now there wasn't enough resistance for it to recognize the speakers being there. Luckily I have not had any functional issues but the DTCs did appear so who knows

Is there any exposed wire thats touching metal getting grounded? Could be cross wired or a bad batch from factory. Mine have been excellent - just did a 800 mile journey with my son to do his college orientation. I will say his music is much more "bass-centric" than mine and he commented about the quality of thump. Its all about those little resistors...
