I just found out there is a place not too far that will take out your drive axle and check it for balancing. They also make new ones there custom. I am going to check them out and get both checked.

I am sorry to learn you are experiencing an issue with your vehicle. I know you are looking for advice on how to resolve the issue yourself and I might not be able to give any technical advice but I just wanted to stop by and let you know that GM Customer Care is here on the forum and happy to assist if you ever have any general questions or concerns about GM products.

Best regards,

Might be a stupid question, but do ur wheels require a center insert to sit flush on the hub (forget the proper term)?

Hub centric rings I believe.

But they do not because if I remember correctly he has OEM wheels

Motor mounts

Had same problem with my 2008 LTZ Tahoe. Did all things you did to test my tires plus a few more. Turned out I had a bad left side motor mount. I took a floor jack and jacked up my my engine just enough to remove mount and install new one. Problem solved. Hope this helps

Yea nothing so far has helped. There are also other new threads with the same issue.

Can you describe how you did your trouble shooting on the motor mount?

Update: the shake I had at 70 mphish turned out to be attributed to ball joints.
I changed them all but there was only one that had a small amount of play and would be okay by most standards.

By most standards I mean the dealer inspected the same parts and said they were all good three separate times.
