Yukon trans

Did GM put a different trans in a 2004 Yukon? A friend was told that the 04 had a trans that was only used in the Yukon and only in 04. This seems bogus to me but I figured I would ask to be sure.

I've never heard of that. Seems a little silly that GM would do that
