Well, my ordering journey has ended today ...now begins the real fun, of learning what this vehicle can do!? Started the journey beginning of this year, where I was researching and learning as much as I can from all of you. Thanks to all of you I had reasonable expectations in the ordering process, so it wasn't too painful. Placed order Aug 2022, first Utlimate came in second week of October, but without super cruise ...that was a deal breaker ...which I told the dealer I wasn't expect it until 2023 (whatever "late availability" meant). However, pleasantly surprised that all new Ultimates build after Oct 12 now have SC ...so I waited! Come today, vehicle arrived at dealer two days ago! This one has everything I wanted ...but of course it has to be a Covid era vehicle without wireless charging. Oh well, I can fix that. She is going to take a lot to learn ...my first GM, truck like, vehicle!

Congratulations! She's a beaut!

I went to the dealer yesterday to trade in my Xl with super cruise for my order in Titanium Rush Metallic. Unfortunately they didn't think anyone would want to pay Retail for my unicorn with 1200 miles on it, so I kept it! Looking forward to my first long road trip where I can just sit back and maybe eat a sandwich :D

The rims look good in person, they have a nice contrast of matte and dark v bright chrome look. Plus you can’t get them on other trims

Having detailed my truck once, I can say that the wheels are beautiful but a PAIN to clean.

Still learning, but I have learnt what she can't do ...brake hold! My jaw dropped ...she can drive by herself in SC, but can't break hold at a light! Guess, I've been taking that for granted in my other cars. Other then that, our trip just now to Dallas was smooth going; got to love the driver assist's in this car. I'm still learning how to have a smooth starts! Seems like she want's to jerk a little from 1st to 2nd; like the computer backs out the power as it shift even though I'm steady on the throttle. However, she is smooth if I floor it, rather then feather it ...probably just me needing to change my driving style.

So anyway, I'm nitpicking ...this is the most I've ever spent on a car and want it to be perfect, I'm old enough to know that is never true. She is a great car, and I'm sure over time I'll learn her personality.

LOL- I read “brake hold” as “hold brake at a stoplight and floor it” for launch. Yeah, that doesn’t work either. I can’t get this damn 6.2L to spool up the boost to properly launch (in my NA Denali)! :p

Does the headrest speakers work? I have heard they barely put out any sound in other posts. I was hoping it was loud enough to drown out my kids?

Yes they work but they are not blaring loud, they compliment the other speakers in the sound system. It also depends on the sound system setting you choose in the settings menu, but it will not drown out the kids, for that you just need to crank up the volume,

Yep, second that ...got to put my ear right up to them to hear from them directly. Agreed they are just meant to compliemnt the system ...which in my opinion they are unnecessary. Better speakers for the rest of them would have done more justice.
