I am wondering what kinda bulb the fog light on a Z71 takes as I'm looking to upgrade to an led bulb.

I know the regular suburban fog light is an 880 bulb but not sure about the Z71.

If the back of the bulb has a straight connector, then it is an 880. If the connection is at 90 degrees, then it is a 9145.
I used a US store's guide on eBay and the original order didn't fit.

Ok so I was just looking how do you remove them it's a solid hosting behind the housing. Have to remove the whole light?

You should not have to. Just remove the connector on the back of the bulb, then twist the bulb 90 degrees (can't remember which direction) and remove. If you take out the whole fog light, it could mess up the adjustment. It has been a year since I replaced mine, so I'm a bit rusty on what I did.

On Z71s the lower air dam, which houses the fog lights, is designed to be easily removed for more serious off road use.
