    As a temporary fix remove the wire connectors from the rear shocks, that will soften the suspension. The real fix is to replace the rear shocks.

    I have fixed two of them in the past and it's not worth it. You will be chasing cracks once you start moving the dash as you fix it and results might not be to your expectations.

    You may need to tune the electric fans to kick on earlier like @ 180*.

    Replace the knock sensors, valley pan gasket and clean the oil pressure sensor screen since you are already there. The heater hose T's are easy to change now that there is nothing on the way.

    Since you used the spindles on the from any good aftermarket shock will work. The suspension geometry did not change. For the rear, if you add the shock extenders you can use any aftermarket shock aswell.
