Hey everyone, searched for a while but cant find an answer. This just started. When i drove the car for about 20 to 30 minutes i got a low coolant light. I pulled over to check the coolant and it was low, but as soon as I turn the car off the coolant levels goes back to a normal level. I drove the car about 5 times for 20 minutes since the first time it happened and had the issue one other time so it's not consistent. Not sure what it could be since there is no leak that I can see. Any advice would be appreciated

What the best way to pressure test the system? I also read up on burping everyone says to fill up a bit more over the fill line on cold and then run it with the cap open for a bit to let it cycle? Once appreciate you guys taking the time to help

You need a pressure tester that will attach at the coolant reservoir bottle threads or use an adaptor that allows that. Pump up the pressure to the pressure listed on the reservoir cap. If you are unsure with yourself and the required tools or with what I have said, watch a few you tube videos, not one video but a few videos. Lots of crap videos on there.

Weak areas are: the tees at the p/s firewall where the lines come off the heater core at firewall. You can grab at the tees and feel if you feel "wet" there. The tees would be if your have rear heat. The other known weak spot is the weep hole on the water pump bottom casing. You will either see drips or a corrosive stain.

With engine running and warmed up, with radiator cap off (make sure you dont stick your hand in the fan), squeeze lower and upper radiator hoses. This will help burp the system but I suspect you have a leak somewhere. The usual is the Tees at the heater core up on the firewall as mentioned before.
