I am in the central valley of California, it's a smidge cooler than redding or bakersfield but not by much, they call it "mediterranean" still mostly hot as balzz in the summer
Could it possible be worse than Houston lol? The humidity here makes the summer heat stick to you.

I would guess it is comparable heatwise, humidity here is rare maybe if it is overcast and hot, we get some humiditiy in the fall/spring but it's not normally all that hot then.
nothing like the east coast, gaah I wouldn't want to live there ever....

I decided to replace the outer tie rods ends because the boots were looking worn. I replaced them with the MOOGs and while doing it, saw that my inner rods were toasted as well. So then I had to order some MOOG inner ones and replace those. On to the alignment shop next.

I finally changed out the front struts, rear springs and shocks and bump stops. I converted it from PPV to a civilian suspension and it raised the car 2-3 inches for now. According the to the wife, the ride quality went from 2/10 to 9/10 with the new suspension and tie rod ends. The steering wheel is super firm and tight and the car soaks up the bumps. Took about 3 hours to do (cleaning every old surface with a wire brush and brake clean)and no spring compressor was needed.
