This thread is great for info, thanks all! In the last month I have swapped my 2011 Escalade, and 2024 Yukon.

Below is the list of what I used for my 2024 Yukon swap. The PPV j55 Tahoe has different brake hoses listed, I have confirmed those fit. Also as stated before, the rear wear sensor works for the front calipers.
I ended up customizing a 18mm socket so I could remove the hub bolts without removing any ball joints, just need to tap the axle back a little.
I will keep an eye on brake dust, I believe it was said the Brembo pads make a lot of dust? My 2011 Escalade has power stop pads, so I should be able to compare.

PPV J55 2021+ brakes:
16" Rotor weight 87839222 40.8 pounds
6 piston caliper 84793057 weight w/pads 19 pounds

2021+ SUV standard brakes:
14" stock rotor 29.2 pounds
4 piston caliper w/pads and brake hose 19.8 pounds

GMt900:
13" rotor 25.4 pounds
2 piston caliper and bracket 18.8 pounds

Hey everyone, just giving you all another option in replacement pads and rotors. The Power Stop brake rep came by the shop the other day. Set us up with a complete set of front and rear pads and rotors for 21 and up PPV Tahoes. These are supposed to address the brake squeal and increase the wear mileage over the OE pads. We haven't installed them yet, so we don't have any data to report. Just haven't had a tahoe that need a brake replacement yet. Here are the part numbers and the hardware the front pads come with.20240508_112809.jpg20240508_112842.jpg

I installed the exact combo of pads/rotors you have in those pictures on my 07 Escalade. I have to say I have never seen so much brake dust in any of my vehicles. The stopping power is phenomenal though.

I am going to change pads to something with low dust when it's time to do the rear brakes (soon) and have matching front and rear pads.

Thanks.

Thanks for the heads up! I will keep that in mind for our fleet.

Now, on my 04 2500 sub installed Wagner OEX pads all 4 corners. Stock rotors. They stop good with and without a trailer, low to no dust and quiet. They were advertised to knock off additional 50' stopping distance. These have been on for a while, but I'm not ******* brakes, they wear very good. When they do wear out I will buy them again. When the pads wear out on my Tahoe, it will get the OEX's also.

Now I have not checked into If the OEX's are available for replacement on the ppv. If they are, I would try them.

That's good to know. My plan was to do EBC yellows all around as I wanted to install C7 calipers in the back, but if there are other pads, I am open to it.

Thanks.

I did swap out to these pads. WAYYYY less dust, no squealing, and overall very happy. They grip a bit less than the original semi-metallics that you posted, but it's a land yacht, not a sports car.
