Nice! Have you used yours?

Do you have any details as to what they used? Did they adapt something or create something or is there something that can be purchased now? Just curious.

Agree it gives *tight/precise* control + driver visibility when pushing around a left corner (my use case). Not as flexible as one would think when backing up because as you turn sharp to direct the tongue over it also points the rear over sharply.

I had to get an extender and a riser as mine (on 2021 Yukon) is like yours - bottom of mine is 8" off the ground and recessed a bit under the bumper. My trailer toque weight dragged mine down another 1".

Sorry so late to reply. I used a Curtiss #31088 which bolted right up. The only modification was I had to cut the splash guard underneath. Hope this helps.

Yes, the one I got was the same Curt Front Mount #31088. And it looked to me like the bolt holes were there but the auto-shop that installed it was sooooo jumpy about it (not sure why) from beginning to end of the project. They insisted on spot weld rather than use bolts / said they didn't see how bolts would work.

And they refused to modify the splash guard - so I did it myself. Was really easy as the splash guard is in 2 pieces that unscrew from each other. Mounted the back piece near engine and then easy to cut the front 1/2 and bolt it between the engine section and the bumper.

What year / model is yours?
