When backing out of my driveway, my front driver side brakes squeaks. Took it to the dealership. They said I needed all new brakes and rotors due to the material. But if that was the case, all 23 Yukon Tahoe’s would need new brakes because they squeak due to the material.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Is the vehicle still under warranty? Did you ask the dealer the same question?

IMO, it is not unusual for brakes to have a slight squeak/squeal the first few times the brakes are applied, after sitting overnight. Moisture in the air settles on the cold surface of the rotor and the combination of cold steel, moisture and friction materials can make a noise till heat is built up on the surfaces. If the thickness is good and the noise only happens with the first 2-3 brake applications, I would not worry about it.

If it only squeaks that one time, I would not worry about it.
If you insist on being worried about it, next question:
If you back INTO your driveway next time, and then HEAD out of your driveway, does your front driver side brake still squeak then?

EDIT @ 1106pm:
I was not being facetious, I was asking seriously. I back into parking spaces over 99% of the time.
If I can ever possibly help it, I'd NEVER back out of my or anyone else's driveway,
so I might never experience this particular symptom.
