I need a 2 way scanner. I do not have a smart fone. Any idea from you guys on one that would work ? I have the Tahoe and a ford pickup to maintain.
Thanks

I bought a cheapie off amazon that I am happy with. GM only but bi directional and does some stuff like crank relearn.

How much you willing to spend?
Remember, cheap chinese knockoffs are exactly what they are. Cheap in price and cheaply made.

Actron has good diag scanners, but are limited on bi-directional.

Autel is probably the cheapest one I would recommend before you start getting into commercial grade scanners like Snap-On and MATCO. I have experience with MATCO personally.

I bought a Autel one and it works great. Would recommend.

That one is on Black Friday sale $200 off.

I also have the OBD link Mx+ and it doesn’t do 1/100th of that the autel can do. Such as controlling the stabilization control module, blind spot sensors, etc.

If you wanted mine i would have sold it for $20 I don’t use it anymore at all.

I bought a used Snap on Solus Pro off Ebay that works up to 2014 and does everything I need it to so far. 2015 and up is kinda hit and miss
Works great for me, but I have decided that the 07-14 GM trucks are my favorite trucks.
