I'll have to keep watch on mine. I have an MX+ and use both Torque Pro and OBDLink, but I haven't really used it in a few weeks.
goo....how do you get Torque Pro? I have the MX+ also...do I download it to the phone? Do you run one or the other as desired after plugging in to the vehicle ?? Thank You

It's for Android and is on Google Play. The Pro version (highly recommended) costs about $5 and the author is Ian Hawkins.

After you put it on your phone, add the extended PIDs that are available.

@blondie70

To add the extra PIDs in Torque Pro:
1. go to Settings
2. select "Manage extra PIDs/Sensors"
3. click on the three-dot (kebab) menu at the top and select "Add predefined set"
4. select the vehicle manufacturer (e.g., "Pontiac / GM / Opel / Vauxhall")

I would recommend this scanner to anyone that needs one. It's definitely not on the cheaper side but it's well worth the money. It works great and I never had any issues with it. https://dieselscanners.com/products/diesel-diagnostic-laptop-scanner-tuner-truck-repair
Dang! That's a fair bit more than I paid for my suburban!

I bought a vcx nano and had some limited success getting it working but not enough success that I was able to figure out what was wrong with my abs. So I STILL have my ABS fuse out. Haven't been motivated to try again. I really hate this sort of issue.

Seems to me that all this struggle is a symptom of how manufacturers undermine right to repair.
