So I have a question I need an exhaust gasket I have no way to get to a store and I can't drive my truck with it sounding like this cuz I'm nine times out of 10 going to get pulled over. So I have a piece of stainless steel sheet it's about a 16th of an inch thick maybe a little bit less basically the thickness of a gasket can I cut and drill holes to make an exhaust flange gasket or I have a piece of aluminum composite which is a sheet of aluminum with a composite material in the center and another sheet of aluminum on the other side it's about 1/8 of an inch thick. And in which one of those would be the best for me to use? I have regular sheets of steel I can cut one out of a regular sheet of steel so I mean I have those three options I'm hoping that one of those will be perfect for what I need.

stainless is better, but its rough to work with being how hard it is. i was assuming you would only be using the diy gaskets temporarily.
