Team, appreciate all your help. I have not given up and think Im getting somewhere. Found some photos of what my cut harness is to look like.

Basically what I see is my Harness that was cut has plug or plugs (connectors) that go from Dash to Jump-seat or Console.

Now I just need to find part number of harness that goes / fits my 2016 Suburban 3500 HD LS.

Please see attached photos. Looks like the same cut on mine. They just cut it when removed.

How do we look up part number for this harness and know if it will fit my Suburban.
Great find on that! Now. This is where is becomes easy/difficult…. I would not look for 3500 specific part numbers, look for Tah/Sub/Yuk parts as they are MUCH easier to locate. Our trucks are pretty much identical when it comes to this kind of stuff.
Might just want to search for “console wire harness” and start there?

Team, quick update on my issue. I found a wracked 17 Suburban about 2 hours away from me. Bought the center console and asked if they can cut the harness as far back as possible for me to splice into my cut harness. They will have it out and ready for pick up this Monday.

Question: where can I find write up or diagram of what each little wire probably color coded is?

The harness and wire Im referring to is in photo below.

Please help.

That wasn't helpful at all!
I believe I provided all of the diagrams that you need above. Alldata.com was the source. Since James does not have the same vehicle as you, he provided you a link to the source. It’s worth signing up for a subscription so you can have access to all of the diagrams and troubleshooting info that you need.

One thing we ask around here is to be respectful when asking for help. All of us are volunteers giving our time to help, freely. If it’s not appreciated or you refuse to do some digging on your own or do the learning needed to work with the info we offer, good luck to you.

Appreciate the help and the time you all put in. I’m doing my share of research, which is why I’m here asking for clarification—not handouts. If I missed something in the diagrams, I’ll take another look.

Geotrash, nothing about my response was disrespectful. I simply questioned the link because it seemed like it might be a scam pushing a paid subscription—especially since I’m sure this topic has been discussed countless times on this forum.
