I've finally got my car back, but I don't know if the issue has been fixed this time. It only happens when the car sat outside in the direct very hot sun. I guess we will find out when I do leave it in the sun for awhile. -

I was told that it was dark ones because of the heat. Mine was in shop and they said they fixed the problem by removing the shims but yesterday mine did it again after sitting in sun all day. Mine is sable in color. Guess it's back to the dealer again, plus they have to fix the terrible paint... -

That's just nuts!!! You pay that much for a vehicle and to have this issue and they do that! I was told that they took the shims out and that MAY be the fix. -

Steering System Recall
I haven't received any recall notices on my 15 Tahoe yet, this is the second one, plus the issue with the tailgate, which I don't think has been recalled yet.- samvons
