    Two-battery Set-Up

    I have a '99 Tahoe LT, 5.7L. It has a place for a second battery. I'd like to use it to drive a new audio system and use as a back-up for the other battery. Is there a sticky or link on how to wire it up? Thanks in advance!!!

    97 water pump r&r

    Mine was easy ('99 LT, 5.7L). I had to remove the fan shroud, fan, belts. Four bolts on the pump. I bought a Bosch unit from Rock Auto for just over $50. Stealership wanted $379 to do the job.

    Not sure. The reason I say that is I'm using the Viper fob to open the truck doors but I haven't been able to locate it under the hood. PO or the dealer he got it from didn't have original GM fobs.

    Thanks guys. I'll get rid of the coolant. How much to swap the intake gasket at a local shop? I don't trust the dealer. Also, forgot to add, I'm hear a "clicking" sound at my inside fuse box. Sounds like a dead battery "click" but not as loud.
