I did this to my 08 and I didn't have any problems. I highly suggest the 3m ear wiser wheel though. It will save you a lot of time and headache! -

Oh ok gotcha! Well ingot the front bowtie color matched a bit ago and was trying to take just the gold piece off the rear and I snapped it in half. Anyone know where I can get one of those? The chrome outside is still on the truck so I just need to 'cover' that has the gold behind it. Need it ASAP! -

I just bought it on eBay for 75 shipped and it was painted. Yea next day we get some sun outside I'm going to take the badges off. The ol lady said the Tahoe can come off but she wants the ltz still on there. I can live with that. What about the hatch plastic? -
