    Monroe rear air shock

I also installed the heavy duty springs for a z71 suburban on the rear at the same time. It lifted the back end about 1 1/2. The compressor used to come in every time I started the Tahoe but doesn't now. I need to load a trailer on it to make is squat so the compressor will run and see what...

    Monroe rear air shock

I installed them on my wife's Tahoe. I haven't towed with them yet but the Tahoe rides great.

    Moog 81069 springs

I haven't had a chance to get pics yet but the fender measurements are 37 1/4" front and 38" rear. I wish I had gotten measurements before but I didn't. I know the rear was 3/4" below the front before rear springs were replaced but I don't know before in front. I didn't expect the struts to...

    Moog 81069 springs

Well I got them installed yesterday. Not too bad of an install. I also installed the monroe ma 830s. I expected it to drive a little differently but it really feels the same. I need to lengthen the rear rods so the air will come on sooner to lift the back but I definitely like it. Will post...

    Wiring for tail lights

Does anybody have the wiring diagram for the tail lights? My third brake light is not working. Not getting power to it. I figure the easiest way to fix it will be to just tap the brake light hot wire and send it to the third brake light.

    Moog 81069 springs

I can't seem to find anything in search and nobody is responding. I ordered them anyway and also ordered a set of the monroe ma830s to replace the worn factory rear air shocks. I'll get it all together and see how I like it. I replaced the front struts with a set of the unity quick struts...

    Moog 81069 springs

I have an ltz with rear air. I know these will be a good bit stiffer just curious if anybody else has installed them.

Has anybody installed these springs on their Tahoe? How much lift did you get?

    Lifting with air ride

Has anybody replaced their LTZ air ride rear springs with regular springs? Has it lifted the rear at all? Really would like to know. They are stiffer so in theory it should be a little higher but I don't know how much the air ride makes up for the softer springs.

    Lifting with air ride

I thought the z71 would have taller springs. I know the regular springs are stiffer than the ltz springs so I may just put a set of those on there to help the rear end out. I want to switch the rear shocks out to the monroe ma-830s but they recommend a regular coil spring versus the softer ltz...

2009 Suburban sags bad when towing-what can help?

Has anybody fabricated longer rear leveling rods and have the specs for them?

    Lifting with air ride

I have an 09 LTZ with air ride. I new quickstruts on the front and bypassed the electronic struts. The front sits a good bit higher than the rear now. The literature said they would settle some but they haven't yet that I have noticed. I want to either install a spacer in the rear or am...

Monroe MA830 vs Arnott rear shocks

Does anybody have specs or access to specs particularly weight capacity of the arnott shocks? I have been trying to find the capacities to compare the arnotts to the Monroes but am unable to find them. I may have to call the companies to get the info but figured i'd ask first.

Yet another denali z55 shock thread

I paid 155 shipped to my door for both front shocks. They are non electronic so I had to install resistors but the ride is so much smoother now. I'm glad I did it and save a good bit of money too. I do plan on keeping to air leveling on the rear thought.

    2" Leveling Kit Installation

Like somebody else said. You don't have to pull the ball joint or tie rod end off. Just pull bottom two bolts on strut and loosen sway bar link or remove if you desire and push down on rotor or caliper and you will have enough room to install the lift. Should only take a few minutes to...

    Monroe rear air shock

Nobody is running these?? Much cheaper than the arnotts. Can't find weight rating of the arnotts though. The compressed and extended lengths are really close and they show to bolt right in. As long as the air line hooks up should be a direct drop in. (Other than resistor of course)

    Monroe rear air shock

From looking at the monroe site it says good for an additional 1200 lbs. Kinda curious of what the factory shocks are rated at and what the actual rating on the MA830 is.

Yet another denali z55 shock thread

If you want to retain the electronic shocks you are going to spend a good amount of money to do it. I am replacing my front struts with regular struts and resistors. I am going to replace the rears with arnott shocks to retain load leveling but put resistors because they are passive...

    Resonator Delete Question

I don't know about other states but if the passenger compartment goes all the way to the rear of the vehicle the exhaust has to exit to the side or rear of vehicle or it fails state inspection in Texas. If its a truck with no cover on the bed it can dump 24 inches behind the cab. If you cover...
