    What am I doing wrong?

Do they fold in when you hit the lock button on the INSIDE of the door when you are on you way out of the vehicle? I believe (I could be wrong) that’s what the OP was referring to.

    What am I doing wrong?

I don’t think they are supposed to fold in when you lock using the lock button inside the door.

22 High Country - mod update so far

I hate the OEM wheels. I was going to get the OEM black gloss, but at $2k, I decided to get exactly what I wanted for about the same price. I’m very happy with the Dub OGs black/milled.

22 High Country - mod update so far

It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty good. I love them material. I don’t love the tape or whatever. Doesn’t stick very well to the carpet, and I don’t like sticking it to the internal panels. But I have to haul some gear., and the plastic panels scratch really easily, so I need it. The side panel...

    Premier Vs RST

I switched my Oder from an RST to a High Country for nearly the same reason. The wood trim honestly isn’t very noticeable either way. Also, I didn’t realize it at the time I ordered, but the HUD is one of my favorite features. Also, the adaptive cruise is pretty sweet paired with lane assist...

    My Tahoe has arrived!

Only had the smart liners for a week, but about the same as the weathertec I used before. Slightly more flexible. They fit pretty well. I haven’t received the canvasback yet for cargo.

    My Tahoe has arrived!

Originally placed my order for an RST with the sport performance package and really nothing else on 11/12/21. It was never officially accepted due to constraints. On 1/12 my dealer received an allocation for a high country (also on constraint) with an optional 6.2. However I couldn’t get the...

    My Tahoe has arrived!

I have confirmed that the Speed Limit sign in the instrument Cluster and the HUD requires a package from Onstar. When I first took it home, I had not completed my welcome call with Onstar, so not all of the services were connected. During the call, they completed the registration, etc, and gave...

Apple Carplay - Apple Maps does display on Digital Cluster / HUD - Pics

Posting this because it took me a day or two to figure out, and thought I would save others some time. Using Apple Carplay and navigating with Apple Maps DOES show directions on the Digital Cluster and HUD, just like it will if you use the built in Google Maps (requires subscription)...

    Real Life MPG 5.3 / 6.2

Brand new High Country 6.2, only 200 miles so far, driven mostly suburban and highway. High is 19mpg and average is 15mpg. Probably on the low side because I’ve put my foot into it quite a bit playing around with it.

Completely agree. The last Tahoe api had was an ‘04, and the seats were like a lazy boy. The seats in my 22 High Country look amazing, and are roomy, but after driving for half an hour, they aren’t very comfortable. I’ll give them time to break in, but I still think a cushion for long trips...

Update: I’ve decided that the seats are not as comfortable as My old Tundra or my old Tahoe. Will need to add a seat cushion for any trips over an hour.

If you are ordering a new Tahoe/Yukon. The #1 most important things is….

To build a relationship with your salesperson. Better yet, deal ONLY with the ordering manager and build a relationship with him. Make a connection. Make sure you can text him and he texts back. He’s your main source of information through this process. Mine was phenomenal, and gave me a weekly...

Update: The cooled seats is the feature I never knew I was missing in my life. Also didn’t realize it has lane assist on cruise control. On the right road with the clear white marking, it steers itself. That surprised me. Still can’t get the adaptive speed on cruise to work, but I’m still...

The 6.2 is pretty sporty. Not quite as much punch as I hoped, and it’s got the typical split second Chevy hesitation when you first stomp on it, but higher end pull ahead is impressive. 55-70 still throws you back in your seat and makes you catch your breath a little. Overall I’m happy with it...
